PRI 10th anniversary - Chicago Cares Recap Staff and friends of Packaging Resources, Inc. joined 4,800 volunteers at Soldier Field on June 12 to donate time and energy to Chicago Public Schools. The important day for the city was also a cause for celebration of PRI’s 10-year anniversary. “ We’re grateful that the Serveathon and our anniversary could coincide and volunteers could have such an impact,” Jeff Lukas, PRI President said. “We're proud to have this opportunity to give back to our community. PRI and all our affiliates are excited to continue these efforts in our area,” he added. The extensive Chicago Cares event is approaching 20 years of cooperation in the city. Similarly, Lukas and the PRI team now mark a decade of business in food packaging solutions that serves Chicago land.

Industry News: Catering businesses and restaurants show strong growth in summer Increase in Catering Spending The National Association of Catering Executives reported several positive signs for the industry in May. Compared to last year, caterers report quickening business and discussed the unique features of the recovery. The NACE conducted a survey with their members and asked them to share insight on their business in 2010.
